Mark Baleja is a well-respected, self-directed metallurgist and technical sales manager with numerous years of experience in quality control, research & development, failure analysis, continuous improvement, machining and manufacturing, sales, and management.

  • Created heat treat processes such as Thermal Tuf, Case Wear, and steel and material specifications for critical products
  • Developed new materials, coatings, and manufacturing techniques for startup plastics machinery division including HIPing of product, casting, computer controlled hard facing, and developing a new revolutionary steel type
  • “Metallurgical Examinations of Failed Tube Reducing Dies and Mandrels,” presented at the Tube Drawing and Extrusion Conference in Scottsdale AZ, 1996
