Andrzej is an inventor or co-inventor of six U.S. patents concerned with high-speed steels, cold work and hot work tool steels, valve alloys, wear and corrosion resistant tool steels, and Ni-base alloys for wear resistant applications.
Andrzej is a Fellow of ASM International and a Past Chair ASM Pittsburgh Chapter, Past Chair of the IMAT Technical Programming Committee, and he Co-Chaired IMAT’24 and IMAT’25. Additionally, he is a member of TMS, ASTM–F42 AM Committee, SAE–AMS AM Committee, and a past Key Reader for Metallurgical Transactions.
He has also been serving on the Board of Directors of Polish Cultural Council in Pittsburgh.
