Erick Garcia has built a decade-long career in the heat treating industry, distinguished by his ability to combine technical expertise with commercial leadership. Holding a bachelor’s degree in industrial design from the Autonomous University of Nuevo León, Mexico (UNAL), Erick began his career designing castings for centrifugal pumps at Ruhrpumpen Metals. His experience in manufacturing, calculations and analysis, and foundry engineering caught the attention of Cronite Mexico, which hired him in 2015 to expand its design team.

Trained at Cronite’s main plant in France, Erick mastered fixturing design for all major furnace brands. As design project manager for the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, he assisted with industry trade shows, like ASM and FNA, and contributed to hundreds of projects for automotive giants such as GM, Ford, Toyota, and Honda, as well as key in-house heat treaters and OEMs. His work has spanned industries from food to automotive, steel, and construction, often solving complex geometrical challenges and delivering reliable, modular, and functional solutions.

In 2022, Erick became sales manager for Mexico, and by September 2023, he was promoted to vice president of sales for North America. Relocating with his family to Ohio, he now leads commercial strategy across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, ensuring clients receive innovative, high-quality solutions that meet their needs and specifications.
