Name: Dylan SiemonDylan Siemon’s career with Kowalski Heat Treating began as a co-op in the metallurgical lab, where he gained hands-on insight into the critical role of heat treating in manufacturing success. As a member of Cleveland State University’s (CSU) Baja team, he had already learned how quality heat treatment could mean the difference between winning and breaking down. After earning his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from CSU, Dylan joined KHT full-time in 2020 as a quality process engineer.
In that role, Dylan quickly stood out for his drive to improve processing and operations. His leadership was especially valuable during the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic, when he coordinated with quality, facilities, and human resources to implement adjustments that minimized disruptions while keeping the campus safe.
Promoted to plant manager in 2021, Dylan embraced and strengthened KHT’s culture of teamwork and problem-solving. He is known for tackling the company’s complex, high-challenge projects, guiding them successfully through the plant. He leads cross-department efforts to improve scheduling, holds daily shift meetings to strengthen team communication, and fosters a family-like work environment that drives collaboration.
Dylan’s technical knowledge, operational vision, and client-focused mindset have made him a trusted leader within the company. He understands the unique complexities of each client’s needs and ensures that KHT delivers on its promises.
