For 10 years, Justin Hoffman was a supervisor in the trucking industry. In 2011, he transitioned to Solar Atmospheres of Western PA, Inc., starting as a weekend furnace operator. Now, Justin is quality manager. Throughout his time at Solar Atmospheres, every supervisor has acknowledged Justin as a learner with an inquisitive nature. Always asking thought-provoking questions, Justin attempts to find a better way to make everyone's job easier.

When Solar Atmospheres was looking to hire a new quality manager, Justin's desire to embrace continuous improvement was contagious and made him the ideal candidate. With Justin as quality manager, Solar Atmospheres of Western PA, Inc. has received zero audit findings, a record Justin is very proud of and wants to continue.

A final testament to Justin's character: Nine years ago, Justin and another Solar employee witnessed a car careening out of control and landing in a pond across the street from the plant. Justin and the other employee immediately sprang into action. They both ran across the street and dove into the pond to save an unconscious driver from a sinking automobile. Local City of Hermitage officials honored both men for their bravery. Their quick action not only saved a life, but it also saved a family in the local community.
